Allows automatic switching of the emergency transmitter in the event of failure of the main
Function commonly called N + 1
Designed for FM transmitters in wideband operation from 87.5 to 108 MHz
The "dual-drive" configuration can also be controlled by change over (optional).
The control unit used is the logic control of 1 + 1 transmitters in passive reserve (main transmitter on antenna and emergency transmitter on load).
Failure of the main transmitter (lowering of the output power by 1 dB), activates the start of the backup transmitter.
System control is possible both locally and remotely.
Transmitter switching can be done automatically or manually.
The switching of the antennas on one or the other transmitter is carried out with a coaxial relay of power + dummy load.
Audio or MPX switching is done directly in the change over interface.
Can work with any brand of transmitter and amplifier (measured by additional precision coaxial line).
Also allows switching for maintenance
Switching from main to emergency without interruption in the event of maintenance of the installation
Sending telemetry information via the opto interface on the DB connector
This information can be sent subsequently via the SMTP protocol or by sending an SMS.
