The high-capacity video streaming server for file storage is required for fluid TV digital broadcasting.
The server receives large computer files from the mixer of the broadcast tray, reports, information, films, commercials and antenna dressing etc.
These files are processed in production control and saved for the final broadcast.
The broadcast software (PlayOut) draws on the server data to broadcast to the transmitter or streaming with a preset playlist by the station manager.
The data is saved as a raid. They are recoverable in case of hard disk crash.
The entire installation is networked with a 10-100-1000 switch.
