Zoom H6

Until then, making multitrack recordings required expensive and cumbersome equipment that did not necessarily allow mobile use. Zoom found the solution by developing this 6-track recorder, soberly named "H6". It is equipped with four jack / XLR inputs as well as a removable head system allowing to choose between several types of microphones or to add a pair of jack / XLR inputs (optional).

Zoom H6: the possibilities

The Zoom H6 is supplied with two microphones. The first is an XY couple offering the possibility of choosing the sound pickup angle (90 ° or 120 °). This microphone also offers a 3.5 mm jack input playing the role of line input or microphone input. The second is a microphone called MS (Mid / Side) which adjusts the width of the stereo image. The six tracks allow either simultaneous recording or recording track by track. All the functions are clearly identified on the color screen and accessible via the navigation keys. This screen also allows you to view the level of each track. To keep your recordings, an SD slot can accommodate cards of the same name (up to 128 GB).
