If you want to connect an analog telephone line a Cleanfeed output is provided to connect to an external hybrid.

Channel 6 for VOIP is also routed to the main USB connector. Speaking to the VOIP channel is done by pressing one of the two button "Mic CUE" and "VOIP CUE" very easy to make conversation with callers before the live broadcast.
The 4Web mixer has a very musical 2-band equalizer. The mic inputs are high quality and low noise built with low cut filters.

MAIN SECTION

The 4Web Mixer modules can be easily adapted to your own needs with the interface of the software supplied with the mixer.
Each of the 6 modules have their own configuration page, where you can program the reset of line activated cue, mic, fader, etc. The micro bus (for your ON-AIR indicator) can be activated by a line or a Micro or by a USB channel.

A great feature is the ability to program your own switching rules, activate the CRM mute module and program the Studio remote control. Also, if you want to turn your phantom power on or off individually per channel this can be done very easily. All parameters can be saved (write) and loaded (read).

SPECIFIC FEATURES

Micro line channel

The 4Web mixer has an internal USB voice tracking bus which can be routed directly to the BBEAM Base or Pro broadcast software.

A very low noise microphone input, followed by a 2 band EQ, driven by a smooth fader executing the control of a stereo VCA (voltage switched amplifier). The fade in is detected electronically by the control voltage generated by the slider. The 4Web mixer can also be used for production while broadcasting ON AIR when put in NON-STOP mode. The NON-STOP switch (located in the main section) routes the first USB channel (3) directly to the main outputs. It does this automatically when the internal silence detector detects the silence.

The CUE switch is also a system communication that makes it easy to talk to outside callers. The ON switch and fader can generate a command if needed. Your personal settings for modules and masters can be stored in the software.

USB channel

Each USB channel of the 4Web can accept a stereo source. Levels can be set by gain control. Cueing can be done by the CUE switch and the ON switch can activate a player tracks. This can also be done by “faderstart”. The fader controls high quality VCA stereo.
If you are operating a conventional station with CD players, you can also switch the USB input to accept stereo line signals.

The USB outputs, seen as inputs on your PC, are connected to the radio automation software and to the VoiceTrack bus.

VoIP channel

Channel 6 of the 4Web mixer is a channel dedicated to Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP).
You just need to set up a connection, for example with SKYPE or any other provider that offers Internet telephony services.

There must be a service provider that allows you to use VoIP for your telephone connections. A separate VoIP Gain Control and Send Control allow you to adjust the send and return levels. An incoming call can be picked up by the Conn button, pre-listened to by the CUE switch and sent to your Show Radio by the ON switch and / or by the Fader.
If you want to use an analog or digital hybrid, we've added an additional Cleanfeed output on the back of the console to feed an external hybrid and send the signal back to the line input of your VOIP channel. With the input selector selected the line. The Micro DJ can be routed to the caller outside of the broadcast by activating the CUE switch in both Mic and VoIP input modules. This is a very convenient way to do Live Radio Shows with your correspondents.

USB CONTROL SECTION

In the Master section of the 4Web mixer you can see 12 illuminated switches (green / red).

These switches can be used to control functions of your radio automation software such as starting jingle machines. Recording a VoiceTrack during ON-AIR is also possible.

The USB control software, included in the pack, can be easily programmed to make the radio even more fun. Any switch can perform a function of your play-out software that you want to control. The Master controls can be found in the main section of the Phones and CRM options.

When Auto Cue is enabled for the CRM, any selected CUE can be heard. As soon as the DJ mic is opened, the CRM mutes to avoid feedback, only if the CRM auto Cue is set to ON.

NON-STOP switch instantly routes the first USB stereo signal (channel 3) to the master outputs which makes the mixer available for production

SOFTWARE

The 4Web mixer sends control signals via USB, based on the HID protocol. The master output signals can also be displayed on a TFT screen (not supplied) in a beautiful application with a meter. CRM program and stereo signals are presented on a high resolution graduated panel.

On the right side of this screen, you can see the status of the various functions of the console. Indicators such as NON-STOP mode, silence detection, Mic-On mute and CRM. Channel status and input selection are displayed at the bottom of the LCD screen (not supplied). At the same time, this software application shows you a professional radio clock which is synchronized with your local PC and an NTP time server.
